Our love affair with the Ribeira Sacra began in 2020 when we discovered this hidden gem in the world of wine. Located in Spain, the region boasts breathtaking landscapes, a fascinating history, and hospitable locals. But it was the Mencía grape that truly stole our hearts with its delicate, fruity aromas unlike any other Spanish wine. The Ribeira Sacra

The Romans were masters of the art of winemaking, and they chose the breathtaking Ribeira Sacra region to plant their luscious Mencía grapes, brought from Italy. They knew that the finest wine flourishes on terraces, a technique known as heroic viticulture that is distinctive to our region.

Our Vineyard

We have a small vineyard that produces a limited quantity of approximately 1000 bottles per year, mostly from Mencía grapes. This vineyard is probably one of the most stunning in the Ribeira Sacra, with plenty of sunshine that enhances the flavors of our wines. It is a special place, and we are excited to share it with you.

The Ribeira Sacra has undergone a transformation since the time of the Romans. Today, it is a place of small, family-run farms that produce wine primarily for personal consumption. The manual production in the region's steep and picturesque landscapes results in a limited supply of wine, making it difficult for the region's wines to gain recognition and commercial success like other origin denominations in South Europe. Despite these challenges, the Ribeira Sacra remains a place of charm and beauty, waiting to be discovered by wine lovers.

This year, we are embarking on a journey to recover native grape varieties through our "Apadrina una Cepa" project. With your support, we will have the resources to create exquisite wines and offer you the opportunity to participate in our intimate events at the vineyard, exclusive offers, and a personalized batch of two Mencía red wine bottles from the year's harvest.
